Day 1: Arrival in Sri Lanka | Colombo City Tour

Please land by 1 PM at Colombo Airport (Bandaranaike International Airport).

Please note that the hotel check-in time is 2 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability. If you are coming early, you can hang out in the common space or explore the surroundings. Our hotel in Colombo boasts of an amazing location.

*Please note that we are required to climb a total of roughly 1200 steps from the entrance to the top while exploring/climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress but it’s not as challenging as it sounds and we don’t climb this in one go, except the last leg. We do this while walking around, appreciating the magnificence of the fortress as it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and listening to the tour guide.
