About the Tour

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime 8N/9D journey through Russia – a land where Arctic wonders meet imperial grandeur.
From the snow-covered magic of Murmansk and the ethereal dance of the Northern Lights, to encounters with reindeer and the indigenous Sami people, and the remote beauty of Teriberka, this tour reveals Russia in all its breathtaking diversity. Marvel at the glittering skyline of Moscow and the storybook charm of St. Petersburg, where palaces, cathedrals, and vibrant streets tell tales of centuries past. This adventure is a perfect blend of wild Arctic thrills and cultural splendor, designed for those who wish to witness the Northern Lights while experiencing Russia not just as a destination, but as a story that stays with them forever.

Have you ever dreamed of standing under a sky illuminated by the magical Northern Lights? Imagine emerald, violet, and golden ribbons of light swirling above you, as though the universe itself were painting across the heavens, while snow crunches softly beneath your feet. In that moment, time seems to stop, leaving only wonder, silence, and the glow of nature’s most breathtaking performance. Now, picture combining that once-in-a-lifetime spectacle with the grandeur of Russia’s most iconic cities – Moscow and St. Petersburg. This is not just a trip; it’s an extraordinary journey where nature, culture, and history weave together to create memories that will stay in your heart forever.

Our adventure begins in the vibrant capital, Moscow, a city where old and new exist in dazzling harmony. As we step into the legendary Red Square, with its colorful domes rising proudly against the winter sky, we can almost hear the footsteps of history. Did you know the world-famous St. Basil’s Cathedral was commissioned by Ivan the Terrible in the 16th century and is said to be so unique that no other building on earth resembles it? The Kremlin, with its mighty walls, treasures, and cathedrals, takes us deep into Russia’s past, while the city’s metro stations, often called “the people’s palaces,” glitter with chandeliers and mosaics that could rival any museum. Moscow is bold, powerful, and endlessly fascinating, a city that sets the stage for the wonders to come

From the capital, we journey far north to the Arctic Circle, to Murmansk, a land of snow, reindeer, and skies that hold a secret light show. Each evening here brings with it a flutter of anticipation. Will the Aurora Borealis appear tonight? And when it does, sweeping across the heavens in hues of green, purple, and gold, it feels like the world has paused just for us. This is a moment of pure magic, etched forever in memory.

But the Arctic offers more than just the Northern Lights. We step into the traditions of the indigenous Sami people, whose lives are closely tied to reindeer and snow.

Here, we feed reindeer, try Sami delicacies, and listen to stories by the fire, experiencing a culture that has thrived in the Arctic for centuries. We also visit Teriberka, a tiny village on the edge of the Barents Sea. Its frozen waterfalls, snow-clad cliffs, and windswept beaches create a landscape so dramatic it was once chosen as a backdrop for award-winning films.

And as if this Arctic escape was not magical enough, we spend a night in a glass igloo under the stars. Imagine lying on a cozy bed, wrapped in warmth, as we gaze through the transparent dome at a sky alive with stars, and perhaps, if we are lucky, the Northern Lights shimmering above us. Few experiences in the world compare to the romance and wonder of an Arctic igloo stay

Our journey then leads us to St. Petersburg, Russia’s cultural crown jewel and a city often called the “Venice of the North.” Did you know the city has more than 300 bridges, some of which open at night to let ships pass along the Neva River? Here, elegance and artistry are everywhere. The Hermitage Museum houses over three million works of art, including masterpieces by da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt. The ornate Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the winter beauty of the Peter and Paul Fortress, and the golden opulence of imperial palaces sweep us into a world of grandeur and romance

This journey is not just about places; it is about emotions. The awe of seeing the Northern Lights dance across the Arctic sky. The joy of sipping hot tea inside a Sami tent. The thrill of standing in Red Square, surrounded by centuries of history. The wonder of gliding along St. Petersburg’s canals, where every corner feels like a painting come to life

Come with us on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, where Russia’s golden domes meet Arctic skies, where stories are written in snow and starlight, and where dreams shine brighter under the Northern Lights.
